Description
Cover roofs with roofing materials other than sheet metal, including single ply roofing membranes (EPDM, TPO, PVC)
Lay and adhere insulation with bonding adhesives or metal fasteners
Cut roofing materials to size
Cut strips of flashing and fit into angles formed by walls, vents and intersecting roof surfaces
Applicants must be able to:
Climb and descend 40-foot extension ladder unassisted
Work at heights in excess of 10 feet
Repeatedly lift and carry materials weighing approximately 10 pounds
Use tools to cut, hammer and fasten roofing materials
Work in a variety of physical positions — stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling
Perform basic math functions and follow written or verbal instructions and safety rules
Pass a pre-employment drug screen
Occasionally travel outside of Sioux Falls with some overnight stays
Commit to work full shifts (40 hours-plus).
